Tcheck Ta Moelle is a non-profit organization (under the French law of 1901) whose aim is to promote bone marrow donation and raise public awareness of its importance.
It is composed of an executive committee which currently has 5 members, as well as active, dedicated members and valuable resources.
President
Emma, President of the Tcheck Ta Moelle association and committed adventurer.
Emma was treated for acute leukemia in 2024. She underwent very intensive chemotherapy and received a bone marrow transplant. The donor is Czech. In his honor, she wishes to travel to Prague to thank him symbolically and to thank all anonymous donors, but also to raise awareness for a silent act that saves lives.
In her professional life, Emma is also an advanced practice nurse in oncology. She is therefore very passionate about health promotion initiatives and health in general.
Emma loves sports, nature, surfing, yoga, swimming in the ocean, and hiking.
She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
She loves to laugh and always tries to see the positive side.
Not really a cyclist at the moment, but training is underway to meet this great challenge!
Vice-president
Quentin, the main caregiver and avid cyclist. Quentin is the vice-president of the association. In his professional life, he is a building engineer, and project manager.
Quentin experienced this life event firsthand. He is determined to take this project to Prague and beyond to dismantle misconceptions about bone marrow donation and encourage registration on the international registry.
Quentin is a calm person who likes people and who puts things into perspective a lot
He likes sports in general. Skateboarding, climbing. He played rugby when he was younger and enjoys discovering new activities.
Treasurer
Audrey, the association's treasurer. A childhood friend of Emma's and a banker by profession, it seems obvious that this position is perfect for her!
Audrey is bursting with energy and ideas. She's incredibly motivated by this challenging sporting endeavor and by creating this association to promote bone marrow donation.
For Audrey, sports weren't exactly her passion. But now she's discovered agility with her beloved dogs. And she's loving it!
The bike? OK, it hasn't had training wheels for a while, but she definitely prefers getting around in her camper van!
Audrey is dynamic, committed, and always laughing; she's a ray of sunshine! She's bursting with energy. She's someone you can count on.
The association is very lucky to have him on its team!
Secretary
Nastasya, Secretary of the association and longtime friend of Emma and Quentin. She is the HR training manager and currently a “Digital Learning Specialist”
A musician at heart, she is also an ocean lover who loves to surf our small waves in the Landes and Basque Country.
Nastasya is a discreet and generous person. She is very dedicated to everything she undertakes. She has wonderful ideas and is a driving force behind the association's initiatives. When she embarks on a mission, there's no stopping her! Nastasya is truly a valuable asset to the association.
As for cycling, she likes it, but only if it's electric! 😅
Vice Secretary
Martine, the association's vice-secretary, is also Emma's mother. This is significant; she was a constant presence during Emma's hospitalizations and throughout her recovery process.
She is very invested in the project and very motivated.
She is conscientious and her help and presence are invaluable to the association.
Martine, in fact, is a little ray of sunshine or a little fairy! Everyone who meets her adores her. She's always smiling. She loves everything, and everyone loves her. It's easy! There's just cycling, which she doesn't really like at the moment! But that'll change!
The association has a great team that will allow it to go far in these wonderful projects and to commit to the level of our ambitions.
Audrey, Nastasya, and Quentin also have a great mission, and not a small one! They are Guardians of Life. They are registered on the international bone marrow donor registry.
Are you young (under 36 to register!), in good health? If, like them, you want to join the movement and perhaps one day save a life,
